I have tried many foundations and have never been wowed! When I got colour matched to this one, I fell in love.

It was the first mac product that I had been exposed to. Great coverage, I very rarely have to use concealer in conjunction. If I do it makes the look a hundred times better. You need less than a full pump and it will cover your entire face! The first bottle I had lasted about 6 months with every day use.

It is pricier than other foundations in the brand but for the SPF rating and the coverage it provides it is worth every cent. It also doesn't clog up my pores or make my skin breakout even more.

Super great product. M.A.C is the BEST foundation i have use EVER!!!! It covers completely every single flaw on your face, it blends PERFECTLY!! Your face does not feel covered in make up, and looks natural! M.A.C base if definitely worth the purchase and every single woman should have this!

The foundation lasts for hours and does not cause break outs like other foundations. This foundation covers all your blemishes permanent marks and even pimples!!! Every girl wants to cover pimples!!! THIS IS AN INVESTMENT PURCHASE!!!:). Gratefully, I was colour-matched by the super lovely ladies at MAC Paddington and this is the foundation that they chose for me. Though I was a bit hesitant at first that it would be the foundation I would have picked out for myself, I can now see that it's just right for me. I love it's semi-matte finish!

It looks really good - it's not too flat and not too sheeny. I love a high SPF in my foundation and though this has just the SPF15 (and that's what I was a bit hesitant about) it is such a great formula foundation that it mixes so easily with my Dermalogica SPF50 white cream product to give me atleast an SPF30 in it!

So I have found a way around this issue and am loving everything this foundation has to offer, namely firstly the perfect colour match for my skin tone. I love professional help when it comes to most things, but especially when it comes to colour matching my foundation! The MAC ladies are so professional and wonderfully expert at deciding for me what colour I am. It's quite an amazing thing and if you ever get the chance to do it, then grab it because it's so worthwhile. The glass bottle of this product has a pump top lid with a clever little lock (a turn to the left with the lid) that clicks into place.

To unlock, turn the lid to the other direction and the product is ready to dispense again. I like this because it's hygenic plus it keeps the product fresh!

This would make it last longer too I think. There is a slight chemically-like scent to it which dissipates after application. It is very faint so not really noticeable unless you put it up to your nose. When I wear this it lasts all day long and does not budge. I'm amazed that I still look freshly done even at the end of the day!

I have fine lines around my eyes but it doesn't sink into them (though I do wear a good eye cream all the time which probably does help!). At first i liked this product but after a few hrs of wearing it i noticed my face was greasy even when i put powder over the top and needed blotting paper for the shiny areas. My skin type is combo so this is not the perfect product for me.

I guess with oily skin or combo it's better to stick to powder foundations, it helps control shine and gives full coverage. This product is on the pricey side but again it is branded so that would be the reasonable price for it. It comes in different shades & should be used with a setting powder.

The consistency is runny and liquidy. I purchased this after being matched to my color and was told this was ideal for my skin type.

After using it for a while, it gave me a medium coverage but looked very dry, flaky, and caked on, even when using a thin layer. It causes me to break out and becomes oily while on the skin.

I honestly don't know why I stopped using this product! My skin is fairly clear and I don't suffer breakouts but I do have issues with skin redness and generally find that by 3 - 4 pm my nose is looking red, regardless of what I try. Not with this foundation! I've been cycling to and from work and it even lasts through that with no problems! It is fairly heavy coverage, despite being advertised as medium & buildable coverage. The shade I use (2.0) is yellow based, so probably something to watch for if you don't have pink based skin tones!

This is my current holy grail foundation. I got the shade 1, which is a perfect match for me as I find anything NC15 to be slightly to orange for my complexion. I would say this shade still has a yellow/beige undertone but I much more subtle than other mac foundations. I find I can get a medium coverage with this foundation without the cakey appearance of other MAC products. It wears beautifully on my combination skin with a translucent powder to set through the t-zone.

Will definitely continue to repurchase this! I have been using this foundation for 18 months now and absolutely love it. This is a no brainier foundation for all skin types and what I love about it is it somehow just matches perfectly to your skin tone by somehow just matching it as the name suggests. This is really important for me as I have oily skin which oxidizes quickly. Texture: smooth and doesn't feel heavy on the skin Coverage:medium buildable Durability: lasts for about 10 hours which is great without looking patchy Smell: nothing noticeable Packaging: this is a massive plus, it's a pump and it,locks which I love! I have tried many fondations and this one works well.

You can use it for minimal or maximum coverage. It is pretty light weight and feels quite nice when applying with a brush. Works well with probably any skin type. I would purchase this product again but only problem is, is that it can't be bought from anywhere. There is only limited places that you can buy M.A.C products from which can make it hard to purchase their products. However, if you know exactly what you want, you can buy them online which is useful too. I got this in 1 when i echanged my mineralise satin finish which i had previously raved about, because i realised NC 15 was too dark.

I told the Sales assistant and she assured me that the matchmaster would be perfect because she had pale skin also. When i tried it on the inside of my wrist it seemed to match my skin perfectly. How ever on my face it was way too dark. I was extremely dissapointed as my nearest mac counter in 4.5 hours away so i didnt know when i would be able to return it. It was a pity because i really wanted a mac founation to work for me!!

I received this foundation in a swap with some other beauty bloggers, and it was my first foray into MAC Foundation. I'd heard some negative things about Studio Fix Fluid and Prolongwear, but I've been pleasantly surprised with Matchmaster thus far. I think the 'magically matching to your skintone' stuff is bull. It just seems like one of those foundations where if you buff it in enough, it'll pass. I've got this in a somewhat peachy shade, and I have strong yellow undertones, but it works for me if I buff it in enough. I like the level of coverage that this provides. It's medium to full, though I wouldn't suggest building it up unless you're doing so in incredibly thin layers, otherwise you'll end up in cake city.

I also like the demi-matte finish, and found that it didn't have a huge tendency to slip around on my super sweaty skin. So yay for my first experience with MAC Foundations!:) Pages.

Okay so few days back i went to mac and asked for a sample of a foundation which is matte. The lady then handed me a pot of sample after looking at me.

I was confused as the sample looked yellow and i always though i was more on the pink side as i normally use loreal infallible total cover in the shade amber but when i asked that lady she said its perfect for you and she handed me the shade 5.0. I first used it on my cousins wedding anniversary and oh my god i was mesmerized by the foundation. It is full coverage and the consistency is perfect. I had no issues putting on other products on my face as it blended out smoothly on top of it.

I got tons of compliments and hopefully next time i m buying a full size bottle. However for everyone who does not like full coverage foundations may not like it. GO TO foundation!

I have tried so many different foundations from NARS to Make Up Forever, Urban Decay, and Fenty. None of them come close to the MAC Cosmetics foundation. My skin is so weird. Sometimes its oily, sometimes its so dry it cracks any make up i have on. With this foundation, my face looks so flawless and hydrated at all times. It looks air brushed, no dry spots, and no creasing.

When i use the prep and prime from MAC my skin looks even better. I apply with a dense foundation brush or a beauty sponge. This foundation matches my face so well with a variety of shades to choose from, you can always find a shade for you. I use the shade 4 when i haven't gotten any sun and a 5 when your girl gets a tan in Miami you know:) i like the full coverage because i like my skin to be nice and even without showing any imperfections.

I also love the fact that it has SPF in it for sun protection although it might give some flashback.
